The Supervision of Interests Division ensures that the quality of education remains high and that students’ rights are upheld within the university community.

The quality of teaching, course content, teaching methods, and course offerings should be diverse and comprehensive. Without change, there can be no development, and development cannot happen without feedback. Therefore, we need students’ thoughts and opinions whenever something works poorly—or particularly well!

Warrantti’s Supervision of Interests Division works at the local level on behalf of all business students at the University of Vaasa. The Supervision of Interests Division consists of student representatives, known as YksOpEds (Student representatives). YksOpEds act as leaders of the major clubs, so ideally, each major should have its own representative on the Supervision of Interests Division. Warrantti’s Head of Educational Affairs, known as the Kopo, leads the Supervision of Interests Division.

The Head of Educational Affairs, together with the Supervision of Interests Division, organizes the Supervision of Interests Survey. Its purpose is to highlight shortcomings in education and courses, as well as, of course, successes and things that are working well. In addition, the Supervision of Interests Division conducts various topical surveys whenever changes are taking place at the university that affect students.
